The International Affairs Office, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, led a group of four Bangkok youth representatives students in Grades 11–12 from Prachaniwet Secondary School, Ban Bangkapi Secondary School, Nakanawaupatham Secondary School, and Puranawas Secondary School to participate in the 2025 Jeju International Youth Forum, held from 28 October to 1 November 2025 in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Republic of Korea.

The forum was organized by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education and has been held annually since 2010. Its objectives are to provide a platform for youth from around the world to exchange ideas on global issues, enhance cross-cultural understanding, and promote peace in the international community. It also aims to develop the potential of young people to become visionary future leaders.

This year, participants engaged in discussions on several global topics, including ethical responsibility and appropriate use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the digital era, addressing the global youth mental health crisis, youth-led environmental initiatives, and youth solidarity in promoting peace and inclusive societies.

In addition, the Bangkok youth delegates participated in a variety of cultural and educational activities, such as visiting Jeju’s artistic and natural landmarks and performing a traditional Thai cultural show to share Thailand’s unique art and culture with international participants. Their performance created an atmosphere of friendship, enjoyment, and mutual appreciation of cultural diversity among youth from different countries.

The program offered valuable experiences for Bangkok’s youth, helping them develop essential skills such as systematic thinking, teamwork, intercultural communication, and creative problem-solving. It also encouraged them to embrace multicultural coexistence and build international friendships, laying a strong foundation for their personal growth and for the future development of Bangkok’s society.
