On February 16, 2012, M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra, Governor of Bangkok, warmly welcomed
Mr. Michel Sidibé, Director of UNAIDS and his team. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prevention of AIDS risk groups in large cities of the ASEAN countries, the role of Bangkok as an innovative partner and model in treating HIV infected patients in the region, and UNAIDS support for Bangkok to achieve HIV treatment target.
