Bangkok Delegation attended the 9th edition of the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC 2019)
Bangkok Delegation, led by Mr. Peerapong Sirikasem, Deputy Director-General of Strategy and Evaluation Department visited Barcelona, Spain during 17 - 23 November 2019. The said delegation had a mission to attend the 9th edition of the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC 2019) at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via. The event provided visitors with Congress and Smart Cities Innovation exhibition which is the significant urban policy driven focused on 5 main topics comprising of Digital Transformation, Urban Environment, Mobility, Inclusive & Sharing Cities, Governance & Finance. Then, such delegation dropped to meet with Mr. Ramón Roca, the president of the SCEWC 2019 event and Mr. Pere Calvet, the president of the SCEWC 2019 event in Mobility. Both parties discussed issues relating to Smart City situations and operations of Bangkok, as well as knowledge, concepts, and benefits from participation in the SCEWC 2019 that could be applied with Bangkok. After discussion, Mr. Peerapong Sirikasem, Deputy Director-General of Strategy and Evaluation Department and Mr. Thin Hongthong Deputy Director-General of Department of City Planning and Urban Development signed the guestbook for SCEWC2019 and both parties took a group photo together.
