On 7 August 2019 at 09.030 am., Mr. Kachit Chatchawanit, Deputy Permanent Secretary for BMA, Mrs. Anusara Chuensuang, Deputy Director – General of Strategy and Evaluation Department, Mr. Kraisorn Tippayajun, Director of City Relations Promotion Division, International Affairs Office and relating officers welcomed representatives from the Guangdong Province and the Royal Thai Consulate – General in Guangzhou at Suthat Room, Bangkok City Hall for the visit to Thailand during 5 – 9 August 2019. The said delegation were assigned from following agencies; Commercial Department, Communication and Transportation Department, Customs Office and Foreign Affairs Offices of Guangdong Province and Cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Shantou. Both sides shared information and discussed cooperation in such fields as trade, investment, transportation, technology and innovation and followed up cooperating issues between Bangkok and its sister/friendly cities located in Guangdong Province like the cooperation between Bangkok City Library and Guangzhou Library on the occasion of 10th Anniversary of establishing Sister City Relations.
