
On 6 August 2019, Pol. Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, together with Mr. Khachit Chatchawanit, Deputy Permanent Secretary for BMA, Mr. Kosin Tesawong, Assistant Secretary to Governor of Bangkok, and representatives from International Affairs Office jointly welcomed Mr. Dieu K’re, Member of the Central Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Commission for Central Mass Mobilization of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, and delegation consisting of Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan, Deputy Director General, Department of Ethnic Affairs, the Commission for Central Mass Mobilization of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, Mr. Pho Hoang Han, Minister Counselor of Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Kingdom of Thailand, and Mrs. Tran Thi Khanh Van, official from the Commission for External Relations, Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, at Reception 3 Room, 31st Floor, Thani Noppharat Building, Bangkok City Hall 2 (Din Daeng).
Having an honor to meet with Governor of Bangkok, Mr. Dieu K’re took this opportunity to strengthen the cordial tie of relationship between Vietnam and its sister city on occasion of visiting Thailand and Myanmar during 31 July – 7 August 2019. Mr. Dieu K’re expressed his gratitude to the Governor for a warm welcome and congratulated Thailand on getting successful in national election. He sincerely hoped that Thailand’s development in various aspects would be continuously moving forward. Also, he offered his congratulations on Thailand’s chairmanship of ASEAN in 2019. In addition, Mr. Dieu K’re, as a Permanent Vice Chairman of the Commission for Central Mass Mobilization of the Communist Party of Viet Nam whose work is related to ethnic affairs of Vietnamese people, asked for Bangkok’s kind cooperation to welcome and facilitate Vietnamese people who study and work in Bangkok. Mr. Dieu K’re will encourage the people to jointly further strengthen the good relationship between Vietnam and Thailand afterwards.
