Mr. Sakoltee Phattiyakul, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, represented the Governor of Bangkok to participate in the 9th Moscow Urban Forum (MUF) held on 4-5 July 2019 at Zaryadye Park Hall in Moscow, Russia. The MUF is an annual event supported by the Moscow Government. Its objective is to be the center for knowledge and experience exchange in terms of urban development areas, such as environment, economy, architecture, mobility, urban health, housing, and city planning. The goal of the forum is set to enhance quality of life of city residents sustainably.
Significantly, Mr. Sakoltee had a great chance to meet with Mr. Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, and Mr. Sergey Cheremin, Minister and Head of Department for External Economic and International Relations, in the occasion of Bangkok’s attendance at the MUF 2019. They discussed one another the activities under the framework of sister city relations between Bangkok and Moscow which has been proceeded for more 20 years.
