18th October 2021 - Mr. Kriangyos Sudlabha, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, on behalf of the Governor of Bangkok, delivered a congratulatory remark through video-recorded message in the opening ceremony of the 5th WeGO General Assembly, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the formal establishment of organization and Seoul as the President City on hosting this event.
The 5th WeGO General Assembly was held online via ZOOM under the theme “New Normal with Smart Solutions for All”. The meeting gives the opportunity for high-level officials, from Governors and Mayors to Chief Information Officers, to discuss and share achievements in e-Government ICT and Smart City initiatives around the world. It’s also the principle of shaping key agenda for chart WeGO’s future direction and celebrating the 4th WeGO Awards Ceremony.
Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) was one of the founding members and has become an official member since 2012. the BMA has continuously sent its representatives to participate in the programs organized by WeGO in accordance with the opportunities and appropriateness.
