On February 22, 2022, Mr. Pipol Krabuanrat, Acting Director of the International Affairs Office along with Mr. Jarupong Pengglieng, Director of the City Planning and Potential Promotion Division welcomed a delegation from J.CLAIR Singapore (The Japan Council of Local Authorities for International Relation, Singapore Representative Office) to discuss the possibility of cooperation between Bangkok and J.CLAIR during the Covid-19 pandemic, such as exchanging information on best practices with local governments of other countries, organizing seminars to exchange and learn information about local governance in an online format and dispatching experts from Japan to provide knowledge or assistance on important issues such as public health, environment, and promoting Bangkok's local products to the local market in Japan.
