Mr. Chalermpon Chotinuchit, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the BMA, participated in the event of “Toast to Europe Day” in the EU Sustainable Food and Craft Market celebrating Europe Day 2022 on 7th May 2022 at 05.00 p.m. at Museum Siam. At the said event, Mr. David Dali, the Ambassador of the European Union to Thailand, presided over the event in which also participated by Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Rames Promyen, Director-General of National Discovery Museum Institute, and the Ambassadors of the EU Member States. In this regard, the Deputy Permanent Secretary for the BMA gave a congratulatory message and joined a group photo with the Ambassadors of the European Union, the Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Director-General of the National Discovery Museum Institute.
This event was co-hosted by the European Union delegation, Museum Siam, and the EU Member States comprising various activities that were opened to the public such as Beeswax Wrap Workshop, Eco Soap Workshop, and Recycling Workshop. Moreover, the said event celebrated the Centennial Anniversary of Museum Siam's Exhibition Building, which is one of Bangkok’s most beautiful Neoclassic architectural buildings. In this regard, the Deputy Permanent Secretary for the BMA wished that this event would be a success and that the friendly relations between the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the European Union would be stronger with the smooth future collaborations.
