On 28th June 2022 at 10.30 hrs., H.E. Mr. Moon Seoung-hyun, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand, together with his delegation paid a courtesy call on Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, the Governor of Bangkok to introduce himself after assuming the position and discuss the future cooperation with the BMA at Amornphimarn Room, Bangkok City Hall. The Ambassador introduced himself after he assumed the position as the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand in December 2021 and congratulated the Governor of Bangkok on his official assumption to the position. The Governor of Bangkok expressed his appreciation and welcomed the Ambassador’s delegation. In this occasion, the Ambassador and the Governor of Bangkok had a discussion on the three important policies of the Governor of Bangkok, namely environment, transportation, and infrastructure. They had mutual agreement on implementing various activities such as inviting the experts for giving advice, exchanging knowledge etc. under the above all policies in three fields. Moreover, the Governor of Bangkok said to the Ambassador that the BMA gladly facilitates the Korean people living in Bangkok and requested to meet the Korean businessmen who run business in Bangkok to exchange the ideas and promote the traveling. In addition, Governor of Bangkok also invited the Embassy to participate in the BMA’s various activities such as the One-Million-Tree Planting Scheme, Bangkok Music in the Park as well as the Outdoor Movies Festival in July and so on.
