On 1st July 2022 at 18.00 hrs., Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok gave a congratulatory flower vase to Mr. Michael G. Heath and Mrs. Michelle S. Heath, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the United States of America and spouse at the reception to celebrate the 246th Anniversary of the Independence of the United States of America at the Athenee Hotel, Wireless Road, Bangkok. The giving of congratulatory flower vase was considered the strengthening of good relations between the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and the Embassy of the United States of America to Thailand. In addition, it also emphasized on the cordial sister city relationship between Bangkok and Washington D.C. which was established on 19th February 1962. The two cities have organized various activities such as exchange of administrative and working visits, cultural performances, youth program and so on, and they are determined to have further cooperation of mutual interest and benefit in the future.
