On 21st July 2022 at 11.45 hrs., Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, the Governor of Bangkok, welcomed H.E. Mr. Mohammad Husain Alfailakawi, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Thailand at Amornphimarn Room, Bangkok City Hall (Sao Chingcha).
The Ambassador congratulated the Governor of Bangkok for his official assumption to the position as the Governor of Bangkok and expressed his admiration for Thailand and the BMA on their achievement of the COVID-19 management and administration. To date, over 70,000 tourists from Kuwait have visited Thailand. Also, because of Thailand’s high potential in public health, many Kuwaitis have traveled to Thailand for medical treatment. Consequently, the government of the State of Kuwait pays attention to this matter by appointing a Health Attaché to look after and monitor the symptoms of Kuwaiti tourists traveling to have medical treatment in Thailand. Besides, the Governor of Bangkok is glad to further promote the relationship and collaboration between the BMA and the Embassy of the State of Kuwait focusing on the soft power exchange between both countries. He also welcomes opinions and feedbacks on the BMA service provision and expresses readiness in facilitating the Kuwaitis working in the embassy and operating businesses in Thailand. On this occasion, the Ambassador invited the Governor of Bangkok to visit the State of Kuwait and have an authentic Kuwaiti meal reception at the residence of the Ambassador.
