On the 4th October 2022, at 11.00 hrs., H.E. Mr. Khamphan Anlavan, Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Thailand, and his delegation paid a courtesy call on Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, to introduce himself after he assumed the position. He expresses his appreciation to the BMA for donating a firetruck to the Vientiane Capital and providing the COVID-19 vaccination to the Lao people living and working in Bangkok. Both sides agreed to organize activities to strengthen the sister-city relations between the BMA and Vientiane Capital, such as cultural activities on Lao National Day and Songkran Day.
