On 4th October 2022, at 13.30 hrs., Mr. Hiroto Izumi, Former Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan, met with Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, to discuss the collaboration on urban development. On this occasion, Mr. Izumi, together with the Japanese Ambassador to Thailand, led the delegation of executives from Japan’s private companies, whose expertise is in various fields including urban development both in engineering, architecture, and urban planning. The executives from private companies presented their successful projects and issues that would like to request support from the BMA in doing their businesses in Bangkok. The Governor of Bangkok was pleased to support and facilitate the Japanese companies in running businesses in Bangkok in order to mutually build and develop Bangkok to be a livable city for all.
