On 4th November 2022 at 18.30 hrs., Mrs. Wantanee Wattana, Deputy Permanent
Secretary for BMA opened the musical event “Mr. Turetsky Choir & Soprano vocal group”, led by
Mr. Michail Turetsky, a Russia’s world-renowned artist. This event was attended by guests of honor, including H.E. Mr. Evgeny Tomikhin, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand, and foreign diplomatic corps as well as other participants like Thai citizens, and foreign tourists and so on at amphitheater, Benjakiti Park, Khlong Toei District, Bangkok.
Deputy Permanent Secretary for BMA made a welcome speech to audiences and
mentioned the objectives of organizing this event, including promoting cultural cooperation and strengthening the good relations between the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Thailand. In addition, this activity would be a good opportunity for Bangkok citizens to have new and interesting musical experiences from “Mr. Turetsky Choir & Soprano vocal group” from the Russian Federation which is a famous musical band and has conducted performances worldwide.
H.E. Mr. Evgeny Tomikhin, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to
Thailand expressed his delight in organizing the musical event today, which marked Russia’s People's Unity Day. This event also symbolized the close and long-lasting between Russia and Thailand and between Moscow and Bangkok as sister cities and was a good opportunity for all audiences to watch the performance by world – renowned artists with great fun.
The musical performance by “Mr. Turetsky Choir & Soprano vocal group” was mutually organized by the BMA, the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Thailand to strengthen
the relations between Thailand and Russia and support the activity of music in the park under the Governor of Bangkok’s policy of “Bangkok, the venue for live music and performance (street shows)”.
