on 6th December 2023, the Governor of Bangkok along with Mrs. Wiyada Srinaganand, Country Manager, 3M Thailand limited delivered opening remarks for Public Health Collaboration between 3M Thailand Limited and Bangkok Administration on “Advancing Health and Safety of Elderly and Bedridden Seniors at Home” Program. In this regard, the governor mentioned that this program is a part of the celebration of 190 years diplomatic relations between Thailand and the United States. BMA and the U.S. Embassy to Thailand has created the developing themes for each month, and the theme for December is Health aspect. In addition, Mrs. Wiyada Srinaganand indicated that 3M Thailand limited is the company which places importance on the urban health support issue, so the company initiated to arrange the collaboration between 3M Thailand Limited and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration on the “Advancing Health and Safety of Elderly and Bedridden Seniors at Home” program at Public Health Center 41 Khlong Toei. This program would offer knowledges and workshop to the BMA health staff and health volunteers on health care and sanitation skills for safety of elderly and bedridden seniors in the community, coupled with the provision of essential medical and dental products. This program also complied with BMA’s policy and intention in elevating 69 public health service centers in Bangkok and enhancing Equal access to medical services. After the remarks, the Governor took the opportunity to explore the operations of the public health service center in order to understand the center's service delivery needs for the local community efficiently and cheer up the officers.
