On January 16, 2024, Mr. Sanont Wangsangbun, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, along with
Mr. Pornprom N.S. Vikitseth, Advisor to the Governor of Bangkok, attended the closing reception of France-Thailand Year of Innovation 2023 at the French Ambassador's residence. This closing ceremony served to express profound gratitude to sponsors and mark the culmination of the France-Thailand Year of Innovation activities. Distinguished representatives from leading innovation agencies in Thailand, including the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization), as well as esteemed French and Thai technology and innovation agencies, graced the event with their presence.
H.E. Jean-Claude Poimbœuf, the French Ambassador in Thailand, emphasized the longstanding collaboration between French and Thai innovation agencies and he announced exciting new joint initiatives designed to foster mutually beneficial advancements in science and technology. In addition, in order to lead to the creation of a strategic partnership of the two governments, he mentioned the importance of France and Thailand working together to promote high-level exchanges between the public sectors and private sector, as well as higher education institutions, research agencies and investors
