On April 6, 2024, at 06.00 hrs., H.E. Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, participated in a pickleball activity with foreign women ambassadors and a representative from an international agency to Thailand, for instance, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Thailand, the Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Thailand, the Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to Thailand, the Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala to Thailand, the Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Thailand, and the Director of the UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok at A3 building, Banjakitti sports center, Benjakitti park, Khlong Toei district, Bangkok. The purpose is to promote and encourage people of all ages to play pickleball. All invited players were under supervision and received guidance from the BMA’s Sports Center staff.
This pickleball game was an activity that promotes health as well as fosters cordial relations between the BMA and the international agencies in Thailand. For those who are interested, the courts are open Monday to Sunday from 05:00 - 21:00 hrs. at the Benjakiti Sports Center, Benjakiti Park with equipment provided and free of charge.
