Bangkok youth performance group to participate in the 2024 Tianjin International Children's Art Festival in Tianjin
During July 21 - 27, 2024, International Affairs Office a led representative and a Bangkok youth performance group from Mathayom Prachaniwet School to participate in the 2024 Tianjin International Children's Art Festival in Tianjin, People's Republic of China. The purpose of this festival is to inspire young people to collaborate together to create a better future for all under the theme "Peace, Friendship, Future" through performances and cultural exchanges between young performers from various cities around the world.
Bangkok youth performance group to participate in the 2024 Tianjin International Children's Art Festival in Tianjin
During July 21 - 27, 2024, International Affairs Office a led representative and a Bangkok youth performance group from Mathayom Prachaniwet School to participate in the 2024 Tianjin International Children's Art Festival in Tianjin, People's Republic of China. The purpose of this festival is to inspire young people to collaborate together to create a better future for all under the theme "Peace, Friendship, Future" through performances and cultural exchanges between young performers from various cities around the world.
In this festival, the performance group presented four performances: "The Uniqueness of Thai", "Thai at Heart and Soul", "Thai Roots", and "The Art Wearing Thai Traditional Fabrics". These performances featured singing, dancing, drawing, and playing Thai traditional instruments such as the flute, Thai electric lute, and Thai electric bass lute, all in a contemporary Thai style that reflects Thai identity.
The delegation also participated in various activities at the festival, including a parade, cultural exchanges, and skills development activities. Additionally, the delegation visited various locations to enhance their knowledge and experience, including the Cathay Future Science and Technology Museum, the National Maritime and Shipping Museum, and Tianjin Ancient Culture Street. Through these experiences, the group gained international performance experience and engaged in cultural exchanges from their participation in the festival.
