The delegation and youth from Aichi Prefecture paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Bangkok under the Youth Exchange Program with Aichi Prefecture for the year 2025 on March 25, 2025 at the Amornphiman Room, Bangkok City Hall 1.

The Governor of Bangkok welcomed the delegation and youth from Aichi Prefecture. Bangkok and Aichi Prefecture have a long history of fostering relations, contributing to the strong and positive relationship between Thais and Japanese people. This visit to Bangkok offers a formal platform for the youth participants to acquire new knowledge and cultivate meaningful relationships, thereby fostering future personal and professional development."

Mr. Murai Shunsuke, Assistant Chief of the International Relations Division, Aichi Prefecture, expressed his appreciation for the city of Bangkok and, especially, the Office of International Affairs, for a warm hospitality to the delegation. Various activities were organized in various locations that provided an opportunity for Aichi Youth to know more about Thai culture and Bangkok  society, such as cooking Thai dessert , practicing Thai boxing, Thai dancing, miniature handicrafts, visiting the Museum Siam, and also having the opportunity to join the city run event (Healthy City). The diverse experiences gained during this time allowed the delegation to get to know Bangkok better. In addition to the youth exchange, Aichi Prefecture is looking forward to exchanging with Bangkok in other aspects in the future. The Aichi Prefecture delegation also invited Thai people to participate in the “Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games” and “Aichi-Nagoya ASEAN Para Games” in 2026.
