On June 15, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., delegates from the Beijing Central Business District Administration Committee of the People’s Republic of China, together with members of the Global Business District Innovation Club (GBD Innovation Club), visited the Property Management of Chulalongkorn University (PMCU) to exchange knowledge and experiences on the management of central urban economic zones. Mr. Itthiphon Ingprasan, Director of Pathumwan District Office, along with executives administrators from Pathumwan District and the International Affairs Office of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, also participated in welcoming the delegation. This visit is part of ongoing efforts to foster collaboration and mutual understanding in local urban development.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Charaphat Preuksarattanawutt, Assistant to the President for Property Management, and Mr. Yuttana Panjatanasak, Business Development Manager at PMCU delivered presentations on PMCU’s strategic approach to business management, urban development, and land utilization. The session also offered insights into the management structure of the Siam Square area. Following the presentations, the delegates were guided on a site visit to Siam Square One and surrounding areas.
PMCU is the key agency responsible for managing over 385 rai (approximately 150 acres) of Chulalongkorn University’s real estate. Its mission focuses on sustainable commercial development while fostering shared value with communities and society. Key areas under PMCU’s management include major downtown zones such as Siam Square, Suanluang–Samyan, and commercial properties like MBK Center, Chamchuri Square, and Samyan Mitrtown.
