A delegation from the Republic of Singapore in knowledge exchange on topics related to Bangkok’s urban development comprehensive plan
On 18 July 2025, representatives from the International Affairs Office accompanied a delegation from the Republic of Singapore, comprising officials participating in the Public Service Leadership Programme and staff from the Centre for Liveable Cities. The delegation attended a briefing and engaged in knowledge exchange on topics related to Bangkok’s urban development comprehensive plan, presented by the City Planning and Urban Development Department. They also learned about the management of drainage tunnels, pumping stations, as well as flood prevention measures along the Chao Phraya River and within Bangkok, presented by the Drainage and Sewerage Department. In addition, the delegation visited the Bang Sue Tunnel Pumping Station and the flood protection barriers along the riverbank at Wat Kaew Fah Chulamani in Dusit District, Bangkok.
