(November 1, 2025) At 17.00 hrs., Mr. Taiwhut Khankaew, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), revealed the BMA’s daily operations in facilitating and providing convenience to the public paying respects before the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Visitor Statistics: A total of 3,150 people passed through the Manee Nopparat Gate on November 1 to pay their respects before the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, at the Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion in the Grand Palace. This daily figure brings the accumulated total since October 27, 2025, to 18,997 people

Services and Facilities: The BMA has established waiting tents and seating areas, and provided 43 wheelchairs for the elderly and disabled. Electric golf carts are running shuttle services along the road within the Royal Field. To assist foreign visitors, the BMA has organized staff and volunteer foreign language interpreters. In terms of traffic, officers are managing flow and handling vehicle breakdowns or obstructions both in the Royal Field parking area and along the Royal motorcade route.

Sanitation and Environment: The BMA has arranged toilets for the disabled and deployed mobile toilet buses. Designated waste disposal points have been established, staffed by officers who provide guidance on waste separation. The total volume of solid waste collected as of 16.30 hrs. amounted to 278 kilograms. This consisted of 86 kilograms of general waste, 42 kilograms of recyclable waste, and 150 kilograms of food waste.

Clothing Lending Service: The BMA has established a clothing lending point for sarongs and trousers at the Na Phra Lan Tunnel. A total of 610 people utilized the service today, broken down into 589 Thai nationals and 21 foreigners. Specifically, 572 people borrowed sarongs and 38 people borrowed trousers. All clothing items provided are laundered and cleaned after each use before being reissued to the public.

Medical and Aid Services: The BMA has established a total of 12 medical service points across the area, namely 2 points at the Na Phra Lan Tunnel, 2 points at the Royal Field waiting tents, a waiting point near Thammasat University, the Royal Kitchen, Methavalai, the Phra Mae Thorani Statue, Phra Ratchawang Police Station, Samranrat Police Station, Nang Loeng Police Station, and Hap Phoei Road. Medical and nursing teams were deployed throughout the day to inspect the area and provide health advice to the public. In total, 386 people received medical assistance, with 1 person transferred to a hospital, 349 people receiving inhalers, and the remainder presenting with general symptoms such as fainting, headaches, or minor injuries.

Safety and Security: The BMA has deployed City Law Enforcement Officers to ensure safety and facilitate the public throughout the area in coordination with the police. Measures include the installation of CCTV cameras and the preparation of fire engines with staff on standby at nearby centers. Fire extinguishers have been placed at all food preparation sites. In addition, the BMA staff are assigned to give instruction to personnel in the Royal Kitchen regarding the safe use of LPG gas and electrical equipment, as well as the procedures for using fire extinguishers to suppress initial blazes. Officers are also assigned to trim tree branches and brace trees throughout the operational zone.
