(24 November 2025) Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, together with Mr. Torsak Chotimongkol, Chairman of Advisors to Governor of Bangkok and Mr. Pimuk Simaroj, Secretary to Governor of Bangkok welcomed Mr. Zhu Bo, Deputy Director of Yiyang Municipal Bureau of Commerce and his delegation, during their visit to Bangkok and their courtesy call at Amornpiman Room, Bangkok City Hall. The meeting aims to enhance mutual understanding between Bangkok and Yiyang in the fields of economy, business, industry, trade and commerce, as well as investment promotion, and to establish a platform for communication, investment promotion, and enterprise exchange.
Both sides discussed various issues of mutual interest of cooperation between Bangkok and Yiyang, including computer chip manufacturing, food import and export, and tourism. Mr. Zhu Bo stated that Thai products are well-known among the people of Yiyang especially jasmine rice, rubber, and herbal balm. He also added that if Chinese people choose to travel abroad for the first time, Thailand would be their top destination.
