J-Education awards a scholarship for the 19th OISCA JAPAN SUMMER CAMP 2026 to a selected student from a school under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA).

Mr. Hasegawa Takuo, Managing Director of J-Education, a Japanese language school and study abroad counseling center, awarded one scholarship for the 19th summer camp to support a Bangkok student in participating in the OISCA JAPAN SUMMER CAMP 2026 for the third consecutive year. This year's summer camp will be held during April 1-22, 2026 in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. The selected student under the BMA school and recipient of the scholarship is Miss Nanthawan Panngam, a Mathayom 5 student from Banbangkapi School, Bangkapi District.

On Monday, March 16, 2026, the Governor of Bangkok  was an honorary witness at the scholarship award ceremony together with the executives from the BMA's Department of Education, Banbangkapi School, and the International Affairs Office, at Bangkok City Hall (Sao Chingcha).

The Governor thanked J-Education for its continued support of Bangkok's youth, congratulated the scholarship recipients, and gave three important concepts to the student: 1) Open Mind: Be open minded to learn the Japanese culture. 2) Representing Bangkok and Thailand: Act as Bangkok’s youth ambassador. 3) Pay it Forward: Use the experiences to benefit friends and society. The Governor also wished the student a smooth, enjoyable, and safe journey.
