BMA’s International Affairs Office and Department of Education led a delegation comprising of BMA officials, BMA school teachers as well as youth musicians and performers from Narknawouptump School, to attend the 2018 Chengdu International Sister Cities Youth Music Festival.  This event was hosted by Chengdu Municipal Government, People’s Republic of China, where youth from 42 Chengdu’s sister cities from 31 countries were invited to participate during 25 - 31 July 2018.  Chengdu International Sister Cities Youth Music Festival is annually organized to be a platform for young generations to show their talents in music and, at the same time, provide opportunity for Chengdu people to experiences cultural performance from all over the world.  Moreover, participants in this event had a chance to learn Chinese and local cultures and to visit the historical and valued sites in Chengdu and nearby cities.  It also promoted the relationship and amity among young artists from sister cities of Chengdu and fostered the international exchanges through singing, dancing, and music performance.
