
On 9 January 2018, Mr. Sonam Topgay, Secretary of Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs led his delegation to have a study visit on disasters prevention and mitigation at the BMA Fire and Rescue Department. In this occasion, Police Colonel Tevanuwat Aniruth-Deva, Director – General of the Fire and Rescue Department, along with the Department executives, as well as the Director of City Relations Promotion Division of the BMA International Affairs Office jointly welcome the Bhutanese delegation. After got briefed on disasters prevention and mitigation by the BMA in case of emergency, the delegation learned and exchanged knowledge with the BMA officers and also saw a demonstration to stop fire.
