Mrs. Suthimol Kessomboon, Deputy Director-General of Drainage and Sewerage Department participated in National Policy Dialogue on the Urban Nexus in Thailand at United Nations Conference Centre, Bangkok on 2 March 2017. The National Policy Dialogue is a platform for local governments and organizations to share their experiences and implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Mrs. Suthimol, as a representative from Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), gave a presentation on ‘Unified tariff system for water and waste-water’. Mrs. Suthimol stated that the cooperation with Metropolitan Waterworks Authority is required, as the existing legal or policy does not allow BMA to collect waste-water tariff.
