
The meeting Southeast Asia Toilet (SEAT) Conference was held on 22-24 March 2016 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Mrs. Wantanee Wattana, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), together with delegates from Environment and Public Park Section, Bang Rak District Office and Environmental Sanitation Office, Health Department represented the BMA to participate in the Southeast Asia Toilet (SEAT) Conference held on 22-24 March 2017 in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia. The conference was supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry, and United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Asia Pacific. The main objective of this conference was to be an international platform for the Southeast Asian cities to share their best practices in developing public toilets to be clean, safe and decent. In this occasion, Mrs. Wantanee Wattana showcased policy and strategies for public toilets development in Bangkok, together with Mayor of Kuching South, Sarawak State, Malaysia.
