Ms. Pusadee Tamthai, Deputy Governor of Bangkok and Mr. Toshiaki Saito, Chairman of Aichi Kai co-presided over the Aichi Kai Scholarship Awarding Ceremony on February 3, 2016 at Chao Phraya Room, City Hall. Fifteen of 5,000 baht scholarships are paid for BMA school students with good academic records but limited household income.

Aichi Kai is an association comprising Japanese companies and firms headquartered in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, those have their branch offices settled in Thailand. Since its establishment in 1978, Aichi Kai has 145 members. It has worked in cooperation with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in youth development by granting scholarships to BMA school students for 27 consecutive years, from 1989 to 2016, with 1,200,000 Baht of accumulated amount of scholarships.
