In day 1 & 2 of Aichi - Bangkok High School Student Exchange Program, held from 22 to 28 October 2015 by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) in cooperation with Aichi Prefectural Government (APG), Bangkok youth representatives landed safely at Chubu Centrair International Airport, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, and attended an orientation by APG staff. In the next morning, the 20 students took a study visit at Senbei Shrimp Crackers Factory and visited Aichi Prefectural Handa Senior High School. The school was designated as a Super Science High School in 2013. The youths joined Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English classes with Japanese students, and then observed club activities, such as Kendo, tea ceremony, Koto (a Japanese traditional instrument), etc. The second day concluded with a welcome party warmly hosted by the APG. Such activities allowed the youth representatives to feel the charm of Aichi, to be friend with new people, and to touch the atmosphere of Japanese high school.
For the second day (24 Oct 2015) of Aichi - Bangkok High School Student Exchange Program, twenty Bangkok youth representatives visited the impressive Osu Kannon Temple and explored Osu Shopping District, located at the heart of Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Then they had a study visit at Nagoya City Science Museum together with students from various Super Science High Schools in Aichi. After conversing experience and knowledge with each other and saying a memorable goodbye, the Bangkok students parted ways to stay with different host families from all over Aichi Prefecture for 2 days.
