Governor of Bangkok and BMA executives attended the 2015 Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons Treaty (NPT) Review Conference during 29-30 April 2015 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA. On this occasion, the Governor received certificate as the Lead City of Mayors for Peace network from Mayor of Hiroshima. The Governor, moreover, was honored to be the speaker at the Mayors for Peace 2015 Assembly in New York where he showed attendees his vision in the topic of the Mayors have a mission to protect the lives and property of their citizens. He said that the city is not just have a mission to facilitate and provide public services to daily life, but also makes public security and confidence in the quality of life. Additionally, BMA youths attended the 2015 Mayors for Peace Youth Forum, an event to promote international peace through perspectives and ideas of the new generation.
