The Senior Officials Meeting of ASEAN Capitals 2015 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Governor of Bangkok agreed to send senior officers as BMA delegation participated in The Senior Officials Meeting of ASEAN Capitals 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during 19-21 April 2015. Permanent Secretary for Bangkok Metropolitan Administration resolved to approve Mr. Pirapong Sirikasem, Director of Geographical Information Division, Strategy and Evaluation Department and Mr. Kraisorn Tippayajun, Chief of International Affairs Division, Department of Deputy Bangkok Metropolitan Administration as the representative from Bangkok Metropolitan Administration participated in the meeting. There are six ASEAN Capitals attending the meeting; for instance, Phanom Penh, Jakarta, Naypyidaw, Bangkok, Hanoi, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Federal Territories, Malaysia excluding Singapore and Manila.
Permanent Secretary for Kuala Lumpur welcomed the participants on behalf of the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur and thanked all the Delegations for the opportunity in order to host the third Meeting of Governors / Mayors of ASEAN Capitals. The objective of The Senior Officials Meeting of ASEAN Capitals 2015 is following up the Bangkok Declaration 2014 in the cooperation and facility for a solid collaborative framework towards the three pillars of creating an ASEAN Community consist of ASEAN Political-Security Community, ASEAN Economic Community and ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community. The meeting at Bangkok mentioned on possibility in a framework for cooperation including public safety, labor migration, disaster management, transportation, potential development, education, health and sanitation, the exchange of people, public service, environment and civil society. Besides, also mentioned to four main topics in discussion together toward "One ASEAN Culture Community"
