M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra, Governor of Bangkok and Mr. Naoki Kojima, Chairman of Aichi Kai co-presided over the Aichi Kai Scholarship Awarding Ceremony on February 3, 2015 at Chao Phraya Room, City Hall. Fifteen of 5,000 baht scholarships are paid for BMA school students with good academic records but limited household income.
Aichi Kai is an association comprising Japanese companies and firms headquartered in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, those have their branch offices settled in Thailand. Since its establishment in 1978, Aichi Kai has 146 members. It has worked in cooperation with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in youth development by granting scholarships to BMA school students for 26 consecutive years, from 1989 to 2015, with 1,125,000 baht of accumulate amount of scholarships.
