M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra, Governor of Bangkok, led a delegation to Moscow to attend the IV Moscow Urban Forum during 7-12 December 2014. Governor Sukhumband has met with Mayor Sergey Sobyanin of Moscow to discuss further cooperation between Moscow and Bangkok such as the organization of a Festival “Moscow Day in Bangkok” in 2016, the signing of cooperation agreement on such topics as transportation, urban planning, urban management, environment, culture, health, communication, trade and investment, and social security etc. In the Forum, the Governor has participated in the Opening Panel Discussion on “The Megacity and Nation: a Reciprocal Relationship for Development” with other leaders from cities and organizations from various countries.
