Deputy Governor of Bangkok Meeting with Tehran Mayors
TEHRAN – Deputy Governor of Bangkok and his delegation met with distinguished Mayors of Tehran , and conveyed the massage of Bangkok's Governor to him. He said that massive project in cultural, engineering, construction and management sectors are under way inTehran some of which can also be implemented in Bangkok with the assistance of Tehran.
He called Tehran a progressed city and said that Tehran city and said that Tehran city and the Islamic Republic of Iran should be able to go ahead with progress without any obstacles Beside,
Dr. Vallop Suwandee , concluded his comments by inviting Dr. Ghalibaf to participate in the 3rd AMF General Assembly in Bangkok, Thailand.
In the meantime,Dr.Ghalibaf,said that due to the existing critical situation in Asia, the best possible organization of the 3rd AMF General Assembly can breed considerable economic and political development.
He said that word prospect lies in the hands of Asian continent adding that in the future production and market boom will depend on Asia.so the role of Asian governments and municipalities would be very significan and urban diplomacy can be very effective to achieve to achieve lofty goals.
He added,I ask the Secretary General of the AMF to pay due attention to Bangkok Meeting , emphasizing that the General assembly is not a local meeting but has to do with the entire continent of Asia and major Asia and major Asian cities such as Bangkok should play a remarkable role in it.
It is worth mentioning that the Bangkok delegation also met with:

- Mr. Seyed Jafar Tashakori Hashemi, Deputy of Traffic &Transportation of Tehran Municipality,
- Dr.Mahmoud Asgari-Azad, Director of Studies & Planning Center of Tehran Municipality,
- Mr. Azizollah Rajab-zadeh, Director of Tehran Disater Mitigation and Management Organization,
- Mr.Aliza Javid, Deputy of Urban Planning & Architecture of Tehran Municipality,
- Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Hadi Ayazi, Deputy of Social and Cultural Affairs of Tehran Municipality
- Dr.Seyyed Manaf Hashemi, Deputy of Planning & Urban Development of Tehran Municipality
They visited and provided details on achievements and activities of Tehran Municipality in different areas.
Before meeting with the AMF Secretary General, the Deputy Governor of Bangkok and his delegation visited the new premises of AMF Secretariat, which will be announced in the Thrid meeting, a present from Tehran Mayor to AMF, as very beautiful and unique.
Dr.Suwandee and his delegation then met with Mr . Mohammed Khodadadi, the AMF Secretary General and the secretariat experts.
