16 July 2021 – Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok delivered a video-recorded message in the opening ceremony of China – ASEAN Digital Economy Development and Cooperation Forum 2021, held in Wuhan, People’s Republic of China. The Governor mentioned the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has set a goal to become a digital organization, as well as develop Bangkok into a world-class smart city, in efforts to create an appropriate environment and prepare to digitalize the city’s economy as much as possible, in hopes that these technological development goals will bring about an advancement of economic system among Bangkok, ASEAN cities, and China.
