The National Health Service (NHS) is the health care agency in England responsible for a wide range of treatment areas following NHS standards for access to care, including cancer, mental health, primary care, holistic care, preventive medicine, and emergency medicine. The NHS Foundation Trusts / NHS Trusts are government agencies that provide healthcare services to the NHS, consisting of a board of executives and a non-executive director, an outside director, or an independent director. The NHS Foundation Trusts are committed to delivering timely global and comprehensive health services to address evolving health and care needs, including secondary healthcare in England. The services are categorized into four types: 1) Hospital (emergency), 2) Ambulance service for non-emergency access to other healthcare services, 3) Community health service, which includes home visits for minor injuries and outpatient services, and 4) Mental health. Despite ongoing efforts, there remains a disparity between physical and mental health services, with only 26 percent of adults with mental health issues receiving care. Additionally, mental health expenses are rising, and there is a shortage of capacity to address service demands adequately.
